Leixlip Union Parish Celebration of Cultures 

  On St Patrick’s day 2018, the Parish is celebrating and showcasing the diverse cultures of our church family from 4 to 7pm (after the parade) in the Parish Centre in Lucan village. The event is inclusive of all cultures in Ireland and across the world.

March 24th-25th People’s Art Fair Lucan 2018  
  Open call for artists and crafters to participate in this year’s “People’s Art Fair”, Saturday and Sunday March 24th- 25th. The venue is Church of Ireland Parish Centre & St Andrew’s Church, Main Street, Lucan. The fee to enter for artists is €40 per stand and 10% commission on sales of Art & prints and €40 per 6ft table for crafters.

March 30th Walk the Way of the Cross  
  The Way of the Cross takes place on Good Friday at 12 noon. It is an ecumenical gathering of folk from all four churches in Lucan. We meet in St Mary's Roman Catholic Church at 12 noon for prayers, reflection and some songs. We follow the road down to Lucan Methodist Church singing Kyrie chants on the way where we continue with prayers, music and on to the Presbyterian Church and finishing here in St Andrew’s Church where we host refreshments after the service. This is a lovely time of reflection before Easter tide joining with our neighbours at the start of this special time in the church year. Please feel free to join us.  
April 14th Good as New clothes sale  
  Doing a spring clean of your wardrobe? A Good as New sale is being held in the Canon Despard Center, March 3rd at 10.30am in aid of the Alice Leahy Trust for the homeless. Help is required in the lead up to this to sort out donations. We would ask for only clothes and shoes, no household items. Please contact Mandy Erskine or Fred Moody.

  Guided tour of The Navan Centre & Fort and The Argory, Armagh. Saturday 19th May. Cost €35, limited places. Bus transport included.
